The lead single from The Sisters of Mercy studio album Floodland (1987,) This Corrosion was written by Andrew Eldritch and produced by Jim Steinman. It peaked at #6 in Ireland, #7 in UK, #17 in Germany, and #38 in the US.

Over the years, this has become a standard in old-school gothic clubs. It uses a 40-piece choir, a harpsicord, and the epic sounds Jim Steinman is known for to bring almost everyone to the dance floor. This is the track as presented on the original CD, which ends at 10:58.

Thanks to the playtesters: Mouldy, Jessi 81, and Trolav!
Enjoy!
