This movie debuted in Japan on July 16, 2005, showing off “brand-new” Generation IV Pokemon, such as Lucario, and featured a plot where Ash Ketchum goes around and messes everything up (as usual).
4Kids Entertainment dubbed the movie for the Western world (their last one!) and released it as “Lucario and the Mystery of Mew” a year later, on September 19, 2006.
