A song so nice, I mapped it twice… but this version is miles (and hours) improved. This is all thanks to the incalculable aid of @SkylerWallace, my coach for Diamonds in the Rough 4, for teaching me how to quantize a drifting BPM, accurately catch syncopation, embrace the horizontal hits, and for supporting and believing in me and this map (and for listening to this song almost as many times as I did). I cannot sing this man’s praises enough; I hope to keep mapping and use the skills he’s taught me.
Thanks also to all the folks who playtested this map, including @hotlinemacdaddy, @GojiCrafter, @Seneasul, @swukpuff, and @symphonic. I may not have taken all of your advice, but you caught a lot of things I wanted to fix, and helped me improve my map. If you need a playtest in return, ping me!
This map was made as part of Diamonds in the Rough 4. Diamonds in the Rough is an event for new mappers which matches them up with experienced coaches to create a multi-difficulty, curation-worthy map. Keep your eyes on these rookies in the future as their talent develops and read more about the event on Bsaber.com!
Note: This song WILL be copyright claimed immediately on YouTube, and probably also on Twitch. This has caught half of my playtesters and given this map the sobriquet “the problem song”… So be advised!
