Mapper: symphonic
(Chroma and Cinema mods recommended!)
Expert+, Expert, and Hard difficulties
This map is mostly autolit with a bit of Chroma and gradient editing that I added. The blocks and walls are the colors from the main logo, and the background colors correspond to the image colors of the characters singing or on-screen, as well as some of the colors from the background in the music video. The music video is included with a preconfigured Cinema offset.
I also tried to incorporate the choreography of the music video into the patterns, though it was definitely a challenge to get it to work well ergonomically! Expert+ and Expert difficulties have more explicit choreography-inspired patterns than Hard simply because it was too quick and awkward to be feasible for some of the movements in a typical Hard difficulty.
Also, I’m surprised no one had uploaded a map for this yet actually! Unless Joetastic is working on one right now…0_0
Finally, a BIG thank you to @swukpuff and @Pixelguy for playtesting my first complete map! I really appreciate all of your feedback and hopefully I’ll be putting some more stuff out there soon.
