In all my years of playing video games……….few games managed to really steer an emotional attachment quite like Ori and the Blind forest.
Apart from amazing art work, fun gameplay, sad and eventful story – the soundtrack is superb and magnifies the experience – credit to the composer **Gareth Coker** for such an amazing score and **Aerali Brighton** for her angel like vocal voice.
Some claimed the soundtrack was so good that it made them tear on the menu screen already…….having mapped that OST already, it’s time to move on to yet another amazing OST !

This map will feature **5 total difficulties**, with 2 modes – *One Saber* included !
Unlike previous Ori maps, the lightshow on this map uses chroma features ! so be sure to enable Chroma for the best effects possible ! 😀

Forwarding the story narration and elaboration of the previous Main Menu track,The Spirit Tree and Climbing The Ginso Tree and Restoring the Light, Facing the Dark, The Waters Cleansed and Escaping the Ruins.
It’s time to move on with the story for those interested ! 😀
*SPOILER AHEAD* for those who have not played the game and do wish to one day !

**Whoosh**
Was the sound of Ori and Sein being flung from the Forlorn Ruins as they barely managed to escape after having yet another close encounter with death.
As they land, the grass below lessens their impact, preventing any type of injury Ori could of sustained.
As Ori lands on his feet, he intook his surroundings……..it appears as they were in some sort of…….nest?!
Strolling through the nest, Ori notices the remains of 3 deceased owls and…………….an unhatched egg?
Being a magical spirit with a strong connection to nature, sein advises he place his hand on the egg, to unlock it’s origin…………
And thus, Ori places his hand on the egg……..
…………………………………The Flashback………………………………………
Suddenly, Ori is warped into a flashback…….. he immediately notices the 3 owl chicks with the unhatched egg and …………Kuro ?!!
From afar Ori observes, he is but a ghost in said flashback while Sein besides him.
Ori notices Kuros behaviour, her eyes, filled with the joy and happines of feeding her young chicks and raising them with the utmost care…….
This isen’t the Kuro Ori knows and fears, this Kuro is just a devoted mother, wishing only to raise her children with peace………….so what went wrong ? what turned her to a cold blooded killer that wiped out his entire kin?!
Suddenly Ori, notices Kuro taking off, probably to find more food for her chicks.
As her children are left unguarded, Ori suddenly notices a bright light emitting from a far……….it’s coming from the Spirit Tree?!
Suddenly it hit him, this is the same night that the Spirit Tree called Ori back, and by thus lit the skies ablaze !
What the Spirit Tree sadly forgot, is that in life, a balance of light and dark is always present, the owls are dark creatures, thus suden bursts of light such as these are a death sentence to such vulnerable and young chicks.
Ori watches in horror as the light of the Spirit Tree makes it’s way towards the chicks………..and thus they cry in fear !
Kuro, hearing her childrens cry for help, rush back to her nest with her mother instincts kicking in.
Sadly…..it was too late, the sudden and uncontrolled light from the Spirit Tree took the lives of the chicks as they lay dead and unresponsive………..
Kuro, heartbroken, looks at her last and unhatched child, fearing this sudden force might yet claim his life as well, Kuro turns her gaze to the source of the light and sets her sights……..on the Spirit Tree !
With her eyes turning blind from the bright light and her now enraged hatred towards her childrens killer, Kuro takes towards the Spirit Tree………
And thus began the night skirmish that threw all of Nibel into the chaos…..that is now…..
………………………….End of the Flashback……………………
With the flashbacks end, Ori gets flung back into the present, with reality sinking down………
Now, with Kuro’s blind hatred towards his kin explained, it was clear it was caused by her fear of her last child suffering the same fate as her deceased children…..
*Screech*!
Suddenly, Ori hears a screech !
Looking back, it is no other than Kuro herself !
Kuro, finding Ori at her nest, believes he has come to finish the job and kill her last remaining child just like the Spirit Tree unintentionally did !
With those thoughts, her mother instincts kicked in and she flunged herself into sheer rage !
Ori, quickly jumping from the high nest, flungs himself into the nearby water, hoping Kuro will losse interest once more……
But this time, Kuro is relentless, forshe cannot allow Ori to roam free and risk her childs safety now that Ori found her nest !
And thus, the two begin a Cat and Mouse game, with Ori’s heart pounding with each step he makes………………….
…………………………….Time goes by………………………………..
After hours upon hours of hiding and slowly advancing, Ori makes one last dash attempt towards a nearby cavern, with Kuro right behind him !
*Bam*!
Was the sound of Ori making it into the cavern and Kuro banging her head on the caverns entrance.
Frustrated, Kuro flies off, with yet another soar taste of defeat, but with a vengful lust to catch Ori next time………
Ori, finally at ease that the threath is gone, finally procceds forward with Sein into their next destination……….Sorrows Pass.
The last element left to rekindle lies inside of Mount Horu.
In order to enter said mountain, they must reach the top of Nibel and retrieve the Sun Stone – the very key that opens the mountains door……..
Their journy takes them through the Valley of the Winds, and with the newly restored element of winds, Ori and Sein take advantage of the winds blessings and glide their way towards the upper valley,starting the asencion to the top of Nibel through Sorrows Pass……
Awaiting them are narrow corners, sharp thorns, tircky puzzles and territorial birds…………
Will Ori and Sein make it to the top of the Valley and reach the Sunstone before being found once more by Kuro ?
