“Go Your Own Way” is the fourth track off of Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album Rumours. It was the first single off the album, released in December 1976 (most of the recording of the album was done in 1976.) It peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 10.

One of the band’s most popular songs, it has been performed at every one of their concerts since the Rumours Tour, which started in 1977 with the album’s release, and ended in 1978. It is guitarist Lindsey Buckingham’s respone to his breakup with fellow band member Stevie Nicks, a relationship that started when they were sixteen years old.

This song is a favorite of mine from the band. It is presented in colors taken from the Rumours album.

Enjoy!
