I make maps targeted at intermediate skill players who want a challenge but find a lot of the popular Ex or Ex+ diffs just out of their reach. Hopefully I still put enough challenge in Ex+ that the seasoned players aren’t completely bored 🙂

I also tend to look for fun songs and artists with danceable tunes that aren’t yet represented in the custom map community. That’s probably going to result in a fairly eclectic mix, but time will tell!
