No problem! Yeah, that’s an older version on Github. Not sure why he hasn’t added his latest version there yet.October 26, 2019 at 6:18 pm #1309278October 26, 2019 at 3:59 pm #1309235
Yeah, download version 1.4.3 from the Github repo on this page: https://bsaber.com/oculus-quest-custom-songs/
Then install the “Mapping Extensions” mod on that same page. Let me know if you have any issues!October 25, 2019 at 3:24 pm #1309017
Do you have the latest mapping extensions mod? I can try a few of these to test in a bit…October 10, 2019 at 1:02 am #1288499
Hey! If you click on “Songs,” you can then type in what page you want. Like this https://bsaber.com/songs/new/page/2/
Or type in 25 for page number, etc. There’s a way to set in a date range too, though I’ll have to look that up again (on mobile)August 31, 2019 at 11:35 am #1175631
Yes, you can browse sabers here: https://bsaber.com/saber/. You’ll need the latest “Custom Sabers” mod. You can also download Mod Assistant https://github.com/Assistant/ModAssistant/releases/latest and use the “Install” button on the saber page to install sabers with one click.August 31, 2019 at 11:31 am #1175627
Hmm, I suggest taking it up with Beat Games who made the game.
As far as pixelated boxes, that would just be your graphic settings. You can turn up the Super Sampling or Anti Aliasing (for a reference point, they didn’t change at all on mine, so just make sure the graphic settings are still set the way you want them / the way they were before). The colors can be overridden to be what they were before permanently, so there shouldn’t be any change there. As far as the colors, there’s thousands of color choices you can use that still look good, just don’t use light colors.August 30, 2019 at 7:54 pm #1175492
You can count on game updates almost always causing mods to not work (mods have to be built for a specific game version). You can find updates about the mods here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/cx8ryx/psa_beat_saber_13_update_beaton_mod_status/August 30, 2019 at 5:52 pm #1175478
You can’t use .saber files yet, you need Quest specific sabers. If you use Sidequest, go to the “Mods” section to see all of the Quest sabers. You can also browse https://sidequestvr.com/#/apps/4 from within BeatOn and download them from your Quest.August 1, 2019 at 12:39 pm #1170554
That requires a more advanced UI mod and we haven’t quite gotten there yet with Quest modding. We’ll let you know when we get in-game rating added though!June 16, 2019 at 9:33 am #1158230
Yup, It’s back! We rewrote Beatsaver.com from the ground up and switched to the official Custom Songs format (which meant converting all existing songs over). That messy part is done and previewing with the new format is all back!June 16, 2019 at 9:31 am #1158228
Collections were the old “favoriting” system that was replaced by the better favoriting system that works with SyncSaber. We kept some of it in for all the people that had already made collections, but we’ll be completely removing it soon.
We’re working on adding full playlist creation on bsaber soon. Also, later today, we’ll have the “Add to playlist in BeatDrop” button back on bsaber so you can easily create and manage your playlists that way too (was down as we’re in the middle of switching to the new Custom Songs format).June 16, 2019 at 9:26 am #1158227
Hey! We’re still getting the new Beatsaver rewrite up and running and so new registrations are unfortunately disabled for now.
I would post the songs in the Testplays channel in the BSMG Discord for now and see if you can get any feedback / add polish to your maps for now and when we finish implementing new user registrations, you should be all ready to go!
Sorry about the inconvenience!June 5, 2019 at 5:46 pm #1137057
I’m working on a new site tutorial, but for now, look at the “connecting your Scoresaber account” section here to let you know how to do that: https://bsaber.com/bsaber-com-guide/June 5, 2019 at 5:42 pm #1137056
Can you tell me a little bit more what you’re thinking? The categories actually aren’t random, they follow a strict set of rules, but maybe we need to have those explained a bit better. I’m working on a full detailed tutorial of all the features on the site that I’ll share with you soon. If you have any suggestions for how it should be changed, please let me know too!
For the “top” and “Most Liked This Week,” sorts, it uses an algorithm that takes into account downvotes too (along with a few other factors) to try to give a more accurate result than a strict “sort by the number of upvotes. Let me know if you have any questions about any of the other sort methods!

Hey guys! I'm Brian and I'm a Beat Saber addict (chorus of support group in a monotone voice - "Hi... Brian..."). I LOVE music. I remember the first time that I really listened to music - it was an Enya tape that I stole from my dad on an old taped up Sony player. That first experience was magical. It transported me to another world and I remember spending hours just listening. As life got busy, I had forgotten how much I enjoy just listening to music. Beat Saber really kinda awoke that with in me again. It's an incredible power that music has to stir things in the soul.
